Ski Camping Gulf of Slides

Spend 3 days and 2 nights camping in the Gulf of Slides on Mt. Washington, learning skills and making lots of turns.

• Ski the Gulf of Slides, Oaks Gulf, Tuckerman Ravine and/or the summit snowfields.
• Learn ski technique for un-groomed snow.
• Learn the basics of ski mountaineering, including:

- Use of climbing skins and uphill skiing technique
- Use of Crampons and Ice Axe.
- Route planning and route finding
- Winter camping
- Basic avalanche awareness and rescue.

Prerequisite: Alpine Touring or Telemark skiers or snowboarders should be comfortable skiing un-groomed black diamond trails.

We Provide: Avalanche rescue gear, tent, dinner, breakfast for overnights.  AT and Tele gear is available for rent.

Rate:  $495 per person.  Minimum enrollment required.
All Programs can be arranged privately on any date.
